Oh but serious art is at times worth. I mean seeing to baby playful dragons inside the cave while a storm rages on outside is a nice scene. Seems one of the parents is looking, and almost as if hoping that the sea that is churning does not flood the cave; while other parent or older sibling keeps the babies content like everything is going to be ok. A very nice cute work, and a sense of realism to it, well done.
if you draw traditionally, you can do a lot of quick sketches of things you see. You don't need much time for it, those shouldn't be serious drawings, you can even throw them away after they're done. Then, when you finally get some free time, you'll see how much you improved Just saying
Nice work, the grey tones give it that "dull and wet" look of a rainy day to me. It also tells a story (as opposed to the many pieces of dragons just staring off into nothingness I've seen around here) those hatchlings sure seem to have fun while the parents are impatient to get out, or at least, that's what I make of it.
