my entry for *Mistress-of-Air's Creative Copycat Contest
I used the picture below as a reference:
Uhm, there are definitely too many colours here. And the Creator's left wing is bending a bit weird, I'll need to study wings soon. There should be a lightning in the background, but with it the picture would kill you with shininess (if it didn't yet). And yes, the noise effect was intentional.

Your concept of this image as a redraw as I call it is as similar as I see it as different, as like fire vs. ice, light and dark. The black and blue fire phoenix has that if a dragon if not wyvern aspect to the for within this phoenix feathered design, seems also to have a third eye. The golden phoenix is more closely related to the fire bird creature like as seen of this species. The look is quite good and is to my liking, it is very nice, well done.
